Hamburger Sausage
Thanks to "Packergal"
4 lbs uncooked hamburger
2 cups water
1 Tbs. liquid smoke
2 & 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbs. mustard seed
6 Tbs. Morton's tender quick salt
Mix all of the above ingredients into 4 or 5 sausage shaped rolls. Wrap each in
aluminum foil sealing the ends. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Bake on cookie sheet
at 325° for an hour. Let cool and rewrap in new foil or slice and serve with
your favorite cheese and crackers. This sausage freezes well and can be made
ahead 1 or 2 weeks.
