Beer Brats
1 or 2 pounds of fresh brats
6 pack of your favorite beer
1 large onion sliced
Place 1 can of beer per pound of brats in a kettle. Add onions and simmer on low
heat for about 20 minutes. When cooled, brats may be placed in refrigerator
right with the beer and onions until ready to grill. Otherwise, they may be
grilled immediately. The onions can be strained and eaten with the brats. Feel
free to consume the leftover 4 or 5 beers that you didn't use!
