How to get Packer SEASON TICKETS Without Waiting 30 Years!
SPECIAL UPDATE: The page below has been up for a number of years now. I will leave it as is but the word is out and last I heard, the waiting list for SINGLE seats is over 900 now. If you signed up a few years back you'd have had a better chance but it's going to be a long wait now. I still recommend trying what is suggested below but it's not the same as when I first posted the information. |

Here's how it works: Every Spring the Packer Ticket Office invoices current Season Ticket holders. Some people turn in their tickets while others make seat change requests. That means things are shuffling around and changing as to where people are sitting. What happens is SINGLE seats open up. Many people already have SINGLE seats and may be turning them in too. If you're willing to accept SINGLE SEATS and pay the User Fee, all you have to do is call the Ticket Office and make a request saying you'll take SINGLES. THE TRICK IS TO ASK FOR CLOSEST SEATS TOGETHER; YOU CAN GET MORE THAN ONE TICKET! I know of several people who got tickets this way and their two seats are a row or two apart, close enough for two friends to reach over and high-five each other. There are even cases where people got adjacent rows and the same seat which means they're back-to-back. Call the Packer Ticket Office at 920-496-5719 for more details on how and when you can obtain tickets like this. And no, you don't have to be on the Waiting List (unless policy changes in the future). This is a very little known opportunity so take advantage of it if SINGLE tickets are not a problem for you. NOTE: Location and how close together the tickets are can vary. I know of one person who got two singles in 1978. He had various requests for upgrades and it took him 22 years before he ended up with tickets that were in adjacent rows and back-to-back. The stadium renovation has created more opportunities (some people got back-to-backs right off the bat) so it's a matter of timing and luck when it comes to upgrading two singles so that they're close together. All I can say is you will never get tickets if you don't call the Packers Ticket Office. Good luck! UPDATE: Word has been getting out on this way to beat the Waiting List so there is now a Waiting List for Single Seat Tickets. What I suggest then is to call the Packer Ticket Office and ask how to sign up for Single Seat tickets. They will probably have you send in a written request which is the normal procedure for the regular Waiting List. |
